Accounting integrations: how they work (connect, map, sync)

  1. Connect: Choose your provider in TotalDrive and click Connect. You’ll be redirected to the provider’s secure login page to authorise access.
  2. Map categories (one-time setup): Match your TotalDrive income/expense categories to the appropriate reporting categories.
  3. Sync transactions (manual): Transactions are not automatically synchronised. You manually sync whenever you want. Next, review what changed before you submit. (e.g. monthly or before quarterly submissions).

Transaction compliance & audit integrity: Once a transaction has been synchronised to your accounting software, it becomes locked in TotalDrive and can no longer be edited.
