Driving Instructor in Herne Bay | Manual Driving Lessons

Reached out to Martin in January after booking a test in Herne Bay for April. I’m extremely glad I did. Martin is thoughtful in his approach to coaching, a calming presence, clearly experienced regarding the area, has an easy-to-learn-on car, and is crucially a really nice person to be around. He is the first instructor I’ve had who I trusted to help me pass my test, so I listened to everything he said and followed his instructions methodically, and ended up passing the test first time with only one minor. I couldn’t recommend Martin enough. I actually really enjoyed my driving experiences with him, something I never thought I’d say about learning to drive!

As an older learner Martin pitched his teaching perfectly to my ability. He gave clear calm instructions and varied the content of each lesson differently. Good humoured, good communication, very quick to reply to messages even outside of normal working hours and good time management. The car, Fiesta Vignale, was very well maintained, immaculately clean and a great model and size which made it easy for a learner. The Total Drive app, which you have access to, supports your learning and has good choice of videos in the resources section. I would thoroughly recommend Martin to anyone who wants to learn to drive for the reasons given above.

Martin is the best. I am late to driving after years of living in London. He gives your confidence to have a go and gives you the building blocks to become a solid and safe driver. He also has great chat, which helps too! Great guy, great car, passed 1st time and couldn’t have done it without him 🙏🎉

I have just passed my diving test and I had a great experience with Martin. He is a great teacher, he is calm and knowledgeable and made me feel very confident and comfortable with my driving. I will continue to recommend him to friends and family and I recommend him to everyone else!

Martin is a great instructor and helped me understand so much about driving he teaches in such calm and collected way which helps alot.
